The Inkomati-Usuthu Catchment Management Agency (IUCMA or the Agency) is an institution at the helm of water resources management in South Africa. The Annual Report for the 2022/23 financial year outlines all the achievements in line with the mandate to continue with the protection and enhancement of natural water resources, while also making a socio economic contribution. Despite the challenges experienced in the 2022/23 financial year in the sector, the Agency still managed to achieve all targets set for the year.
